BOARD OF REVIEW

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all taxpayers & property owners of the Charter Township of Oneida, Eaton County, Michigan:
The Board of Review Organizational Meeting will be held at the Oneida Township Hall, Office of the Assessor on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
The Board of Review Public Meetings, for the review and appeals of the Assessment Roll will be held on the following dates and times:
Monday, March 11, 2019 (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.(noon) and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.)
Tuesday, March 12, 2019 (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.(noon) and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
Public Meetings will be held at the Oneida Charter Township Hall, 11041 Oneida Road, Grand Ledge, Michigan 48837 (located at the corner of Oneida Rd. and St. Joe Hwy.).
WRITTEN APPEALS MUST BE RECEIVED BY FRIDAY, MARCH 8, 2019.
Oneida Charter Township will provide auxiliary aids or services to individuals with disabilities. Persons needing such services should contact the Township in writing or by telephone not less than four (4) days before the public hearing.

NOTICE OF ADOPTED ORDINANCE BY
ONEIDA CHARTER TOWNSHIP
ORDINANCE NO. 2019-01
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 3-2005, PENSION PLAN ORDINANCE
ONEIDA CHARTER TOWNSHIP ORDAINS:


SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of the Ordinance is to amend Sections 4A and 4D of Ordinance No. 3-2005, entitled “Township Pension Plan”, to provide that Township pension recipients may make personal contributes or opt out as allowed by the plan.
SECTION 2.
Section 4A of Ordinance No. 3-2005 is amended to now read in its entirety as follows:
4A. The Charter Township of Oneida shall annually contribute Ten (10) per centum of annual salary for each person with the class of officers and employees enumerated in section 3 hereof. Such contributions shall be secured from the general fund of the township. Each officer or employee may contribute an additional amount of their annual salary as allowed by the plan. The Township Clerk is hereby authorized to deduct the same from each person’s compensation.
Section 4D of Ordinance No. 3-2005 is amended to now read in its entirety as follows:
4D. Any person desiring not to be so covered shall give written notice to the Township Clerk that he/she desires not to be covered as required by the plan.
SECTION 3. Effective date. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) day after publication.
ADOPTED. The Supervisor declared the resolution adopted at a regular Board Meeting on February 12, 2019.

ONEIDA CHARTER TOWNSHIP

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR P.A. 425 PROPERTY TRANSFER


The Oneida Charter Township Board will conduct a public hearing, for the affected property owner and the City of Grand Ledge, on a proposed Agreement for the Conditional Transfer of Property and Governmental Functions Pursuant to 1984 PA 425 and 1967 PA 8, and the proposed conditional transfer therein, between the Oneida Charter Township and the City of Grand Ledge. The public hearing will take place on March 12, 2019, at 7:15 p.m. at the Oneida Charter Township Hall, 11041 Oneida Road, Grand Ledge, MI 48837.
The property proposed for the conditional transfer from Oneida Charter Township to the City of Grand Ledge consists of one (1) parcel:
Location: 13814 S Hartel Rd, Grand Ledge, MI. Parcel No. 030-001-100-019-04
Copies of the proposed Agreement and legal descriptions and survey of the land proposed to be conditionally transferred are available from the Township at the Oneida Charter Township Hall, 11041 Oneida Road, Grand Ledge, MI 48837, during the Township’s normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and also available at the public hearing.
Members of the public are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide public comment. Oneida Charter Township will provide auxiliary aids or services to individuals with disabilities.
