Building permits are required for new home construction, home repairs, remodeling, pond construction, pole barns, decks, etc.  A building permit is required to promote and safeguard the public health, safety, and general welfare of the community.  If you are unsure whether or not a permit is required, please contact our Builiding Inspector, Tom Westfall.  Demolition permits are required for removal of structures.
